ABOUT ME
After studying and working in the field of electronic engineering for almost 10 years I decided to make a change.
I left my job for a full time voluntary position with the Dublin Simon Community and quite quickly found something I really wanted to do.
I then began my training in the field of therapy in 2009 at the Psychotherapy and Counselling Institute, Clondalkin. I started seeing clients in 2010 as a student and graduated in 2012 with an Honours Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I became accredited in 2017 and am a member of the IACP. I have been seeing clients now for 14 years.

In terms of my approach, this is really tailored to your needs. I use elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in my practice (See Useful Links page for more information on CBT).

Primarily though, I work in a person centred way. This basically means that I support you to decide what is best for you. I have worked in a variety of settings including: addiction treatment centres; traveller's projects; homeless services; suicide prevention organisations and general counselling services.

My training is integrataive counselling so I will work with any issue you come with. However, The issues I have worked with most are:

*Addiction
*Loss
*Anxiety
*Trauma
*Self esteem
*Relationship issues
